What is CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH?
Christ Renew His Parish is a spiritual renewal weekend designed to help individuals grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with others in their faith community.

How long has CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH been around?
Christ Renews His Parish was started in 1969.  It is recommended by the renewal office of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops as a primary instrument of personal and parish renewal for Catholic parishes in the U.S.A. and in Italy.

What happens on the Weekend?
During the weekend you will listen to a number of individuals who have volunteered to give a personal witness to the power of Jesus Christ in their lives.  Group discussions and responses follow each presentation.  There will be readings of scripture, time for prayer, and time set aside for personal reflection.

Sacraments are an integral part of the weekend.  There will be an opportunity to go to reconciliation and the weekend will include a private Mass.

Who may attend?
All adult parishioners are welcome!

A team of parishioners who have previously attended a Christ Renews His Parish weekend minister the weekend.

When and where does the weekend take place?
The weekend will begin Saturday morning and end Sunday late afternoon.  The upcoming weekends will be held at the Mary Immaculate Center in Northampton, PA.  The weekends will be held twice a year.  Check the events tab for specific dates for men and women.

How much does the weekend cost?
The weekend will include one overnight and 5 meals plus snacks. The total cost is $100 per person.   The spirit of Christ Renews Parish is to make the experience and process available to everyone.  Special arrangements can be made for anyone who is interested but cannot afford the registration.

How do I register?
You may register on-line or call the rectory for the name and number of the current invitations coordinator.  If you register on-line, the invitations coordinator will contact you.

Gift of Time: Saturday morning to early Sunday evening.
 
Training: None, unless you wish to help conduct the next weekend of renewal.
   
Registration

The registration fee for the weekend is $100. 

The spirit of Christ Renews His Parish is to make the experience available to everyone.  Special arrangements can be made for anyone who is interested but cannot afford the registration or a donation.  Registration is open to all adult parishioners.
