Parish Nursing is professional nursing that promotes holistic care to individuals, families, congregations and the community. The Parish Nursing concept has become a well known and respected method of pastoral health ministry; it blends the knowledge of physical and spiritual health that are the ingredients of holistic care. This ministry purposefully links health and spirituality within the parish. The goal of Parish Nursing in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is to promote health and wellness and give glory to God by being fully alive.
