A New Day

Dear Friends, Last Sunday, I did not have a column in the bulletin due to a remarkably busy week that prevented me from having time to sit down and write. But this week, I am back in action. Thanks to everyone who assisted in Father Moriconi’s farewell Mass and gathering last Sunday. It was most beautiful and touching. I know that he was very moved by everyone’s kindness and well wishes. This week we offer a heartfelt word of welcome to Father Jason Buck, our newly assigned Parochial Vicar, who arrived this past Monday. Parish On The Move!

Angela Lewis and Alice Ann Schiele were elected to the Pastoral Council last weekend. We are happy for their willingness to assist our parish family in this way. My gratitude to Barbara Curran and Mark Dylinski who willingly accepted the invitation to run for the Council. Each candidate on the ballot was outstanding. I am sure it was hard to make a choice. At this time, I also express gratitude and thanks to Sandy MacMurtrie and Kathleen Aaron for their six years of service on the Council, which is now ending. At this time, I take the opportunity to offer congratulations to all our parish members who are graduating from any school and on every level. Graduation marks a milestone. Whil

Busy Times

This weekend is election weekend for our parish pastoral council. We have great nominees, as always! We ask that you prayerfully reflect on the nominees and vote for two (2) nominees only. Ballots may be found in the pews or at the doors of Church. Council members will be at the Church doors, at the end of Mass, to collect your completed ballot. As you are aware, the members of the pastoral council advise me concerning the mission, activities and needs of our parish family. I want to take a moment and express my deep felt gratitude for the beautiful celebration of Memorial Day here at our parish. Pete O’Connor and John Tate coordinated everyone’s participation both, at Holy Mass
