“Every morning our 6 year old daughter, Ella, is excited to go to Our Lady of Confidence Day School (OLC). I think what we like best about OLC is that  it’s a Catholic  education, first and  foremost. Ella is getting a well-rounded education -

she’s learning to read, do math,  she learns  about God,  she’s learning her prayers. She also has gym, computer and  music classes. At OLC, Ella gets, what every other  child in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia gets, in a more  loving setting, and  a smaller setting. THE CATHOLIC CHARITIES APPEAL IS A BIG SUPPORTER OF SPECIAL

EDUCATION. The cost to educate one  of our children, out of pocket, would be almost  $20,000, which is something as a Catholic  school  teacher and  a cook, we could  never afford, so without  the help  of the Catholic  Charities  Appeal, Ella would not be here.”

– Chrissy & Kevin Nichol,  OLC parents

The Catholic Charities Appeal is recognized as a non-profit institution. As such, all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. GIFTS OF SECURITY – A gift of appreciated securities is one way to make a significant contribution at a reduced cost to you. Federal tax laws allow a charitable deduction for the full market value of securities on the date of your gift.

PLANNED GIFTS – By making a planned gift to the Catholic Charities Appeal you are ensuring that you leave a lasting legacy of faith and charity. Gift planning allows individuals to incorporate estate and financial planning with their long-term philanthropic goals and includes bequests, charitable gift annuities, trust instruments, and gifts of retirement or life insurance assets. This type of gift offers many financial and tax benefits to you and your loved ones. More importantly, it provides an enduring testament to your values and ensures what you have spent a lifetime building, is allocated according to your wishes.
