It's Here

Dear Friends,

It’s here! It’s live! I am not talking about some bodily creature but rather the link to our parish wide survey called Disciple Maker Index. Every parishioner, age 18 or older, is invited to fill out this 10-15 minute survey on discipleship and on what avenues the parish can pursue to support discipleship among us and for our children and their children.

We have endured a long period of isolation and disruption of ordinary life with the attendant stress that this pandemic has brought. But God is God! He walks with us through all of this. He cries with us. He suffers with us. He laughs with us. He leads us forward into the future. No one has a crystal ball concerning the future but we know this through and through ~ Jesus has entrusted the Great Commission to us, each and every one of us ~ young and old, female and male, married and single, laity, religious, ordained.

Jesus is simple and direct. “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Jesus commissions and challenges us. Jesus provides what we need ~ He is with us always!

We need your help! How do we live discipleship here in Collegeville? How do we help one another to be disciples? AND, how do we help our children and their children embrace the Faith, become intimate friends with Jesus? Take 15 minutes of your time and complete the survey, either online or paper copy. Be a part of this great adventure and the work that lies ahead.

The survey is available online until November 16. Check our website and social media. Paper copies are available in the narthex, in the parish office or you can download one from the website. You need to return paper copies by November 16, either in the basket, by mail or drop it off at the parish office. All surveys are confidential. The parish will receive an aggregate report of the results and not individual comments. We will share the results once they come in.

God bless you, God love you,

Monsignor McCulken
