Safe Environment

Archdiocese Safe Environment efforts
Nothing is more important than the safety of our children. Providing a safe environment for young people entrusted to our care through parish activities is vital.
With God’s continued guidance and grace, for over a decade the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has put in place policies and procedures to protect the children in our care, some of which exceed those required by law. We appreciate the invaluable commitment and continued compliance of our volunteers at Saint Eleanor.
If you are volunteering, we appreciate your time and your efforts to help us maintain a safe environment at our parish.
By state law and archdiocesan policy, all volunteers working with children are required to submit copies of clearances and complete required training prior to beginning their service.
Please see attached directions for the clearance process.
- Regular contact with youth - CYO, PREP, Children's Liturgy, Youth Ministry, Pre-Jordan, and Junior Legion of Mary
- Occasional contact with youth - Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers, Music Ministry, Ambassadors, and Saint Vincent de Paul
